Description
- PhEST is photography, cinema, music, art, contaminations from the Mediterranean
- The Festival was born in 2016 from an idea of Giovanni Troilo, Arianna Rinaldo and Cinzia Negherbon and from the need to try to give back a voice of its own to the thousand identities that make up the sea in the midst of the lands, to redefine an imaginary of its own and new
- More than 30 exhibitions spread across the historic centre of Monopoli
- Each edition focuses on a theme
- Artists from all over the world bring photography, contemporary art and music to the heart of Apulia
- The Festival takes place both outdoors and indoors and in locations that generally are not accessible to the public (e.g. the beautiful Palazzo Palmieri)
- Held every year from early September to early November
- Single ticket for access to all indoor exhibitions
